Qualifications:
- Contestants must be at least 12 years old and not have reached her 15th birthday by January 1st of the year she will be crowned the Hereford Junior Princess.
- Must be single, never married, no children.
- Must be a member of the Iowa Junior Hereford Association
- Must be a daughter or granddaughter of an active Iowa Hereford Breeders Association (IHBA). Yearly dues must be paid to the IHBA treasurer.
- May serve as Iowa Hereford Junior Princess more than one year, as long as she is not serving as princess or queen for another breed and has not reached her 15th Birthday.
- Must be willing to attend Iowa Hereford Breeders Association and Iowa Junior Hereford Association activities.
- Dress in a nice dress (with sleeves) or show jeans (not faded) with the Iowa Hereford Junior Princess banner and tiara. Shorts are NOT worn with banner or tiara. If you show up not presentable, you will be asked not to wear your banner or tiara and will not help with any activities.
- There are NOT any financial funds to support the Princess.
- Must be accompanied by one of your parents, grandparents or an adult over 21 at all Hereford Activities. (Your boyfriend is not a chaperone!)
